Freshly ground well-ripened Bulgarian tomatoes and typical natural spices are added to the roasted Bulgarian red peppers. All this thickens on a slow fire, onions, sunflower oil and a little salt are added. The jars are sterilized  in autoclaves, thus the coarsely ground lutenitsa reaches you all year round with a unique taste known to generations of Bulgarians.
