FRIED PEPPERS

A delicious starter for the winter season. If you have had enough of pickles but like to have vegetables on your table, even if not fresh, you will love this starter.

Necessary Products

  • one jar of roasted and peeled peppers Bulcons Parvomai
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 gr. wheat flour
  • sunflower oil
  • salt

To make the sauce you will need:

  • 1 head of garlic
  • dry bread (the crumb of two slices)
  • 200 gr. of yogurt
  • salt
  • lemon juice

Method of preparation

Whip the eggs into foam. Dip each pepper into the eggs, then into the flour and quickly fry in heated oil. Place the fried eggs onto kitchen paper to drench the excess oil then place in a big plate. To make the garlic paste mix in a small bowl the ground garlic, ground bread crumbs and the yogurt then season with salt and lemon juice. Normally this sauce is prepared with some oil but with the fried peppers you may find the oil unnecessary.
